Summary: New wave of thrash metal music. 2008-10-31
Comment: Warbringer are part of the new wave of thrash metal music that's coming out nowadays. They're one of the few underground bands that are leading the thrash metal revival in the west coast area of the U.S., along with Municipal Waste and Evile these guys are just amazing. War Without End is just a furious, headbanging and highly aggressive album that thrashes from start to finish. These guys are all pretty young most probably not even born yet when bands like Megadeth, Metallica and Exodus first started making this type of music. Don't let that dismay you though as Warbringer have obviously studied their Bay Area thrash very well, War Without End which is a solid throwback to that era. The album musically sounds like a cross between early Exodus, Testament, Death Angel and Metallica with razor sharp riffs and solos from Adam Carroll and John Laux flying all over the place, pummeling drum blasts courtesy of Ryan Bates, rumbling bass from Andy Laux and vocals from John Kevill who sounds like 90's period Chuck Schuldiner, I love those kind of vocals!. It's really hard to pick some highlights from this ripping album as each track is more solid than the next, but ones to look out for are At the Crack of Doom with it's brilliant acoustic intro, Total War, Instruments of Torture (complete with plenty of mosh sections like it was 1987 all over again!), the insane frenzy of Born of the Ruins and the last track Combat Shock (check out the music video on YouTube!). War Without End is a fantastic sounding thrash CD and a great reminder of how lethal the mid-80's thrash scene was. With up and coming bands like Warbringer bringing the goods and veterans like Exodus and Megadeth making triumphant returns, we might just see a resurgence of the genre yet. This is thee thrash album of 2008.........

Summary: Like a Slayer. 2008-07-04
Comment: They tried new things. But there is not new a thing! Vocal, like a slayer, Sound ; like old (1981)metallica. All songs speed, but it is not melodic to my mind.Only speed can't enough.

Shortly; ýf you love slayer then buy this product. If you don't than go on your way.

Summary: this is old school thrash (83-88) 2008-06-28
Comment: these guys definitly are thrash and sound bay area style.you can certainly got their influences from the masters in the bay area scene.sound like alot of older bands and the guitarist can shred equal to the kings but it's 20 years later but still damn good playing.
