Christophe Beck's score for Under the Tuscan Sun is a top-notch piece of work. Buy it and you will not be disappointed. This composer is both delicate and powerfully masterful in his work to give life & voice to any movie's unseen character....the music. He denotes both the charm, melancholy and sweetness of life in tracks like #28, "My Wish"...innocence is evoked in track #22s "Baby Alessandra". How much I respect the talent of composers can't be expressed in words...you simply have to listen to it. Cristophe Beck is a genius...the music in Under the Tuscan Sun is triumphant, uplifting, wonderful, and simply marvelous. The cello, and violins are just played so beautifully. The entire soundtrack provokes so many emotions inside. It is funny because as much as I absolutely love classic rock, I have a much greater level of appreciation and awe when it comes to musical scores. I believe composers to be one of the most talented people. To come up with music for various scenes of a movie out of scratch, is remarkable if done like Howard Newton Shore, or Thomas Newman and of course Christophe Beck.
