This is basicly the worst you can get... even worse than the disco versions!!! If you enjoy listening to video game music, you may like it... It is, lets say, John Williams meets PAC-MAN!!! There are only 5 or 6 songs on each CD, the quality is terrible even for a video game, it is just a plain waste of money, time, and sound!!! Luckily I was able to get my money back, but some sellers are not so nice I am sure! I am hoping this review will keep you from making the same mistake I did!!!!
This "klingsithvamp" must be reviewing a different set that I am. I know what I am talking about!

Remember the Star Wars soundtrack? I do. The very first blare of horns before the text crawl began; a young Luke Skywalker watching a double sunset as a lone, mournful horn is joined by crescendoing strings; the bombastic Imperial March; the whole soundtrack was truly John Williams doing some of his finest work.
That's not what you're getting here.
When I started playing this, the first thing I noticed was how flat and dull the opening sounded. Soon after, the realization that the strings were synthesized (it's painfully obvious) led to the realization that, well, everything was synthesized. Some pieces take really well to synthesizers; some people can play anything on one and make it sound good. Not this album. Although every note of Williams's score seems to be present (well, on the pieces included, anyway), where the original pulses with energy and vibrancy, Huxley's adaptation simply falls flat.
