Summary: Some excellent tracks, some filler 2002-06-09
Comment: I mainly bought this CD for track #6 (Samanosukesirabe). I don't own the game (it's not all that much fun), but I was drawn to the music. It's written in style of Japanese folk, interwoven with western classical, which results in beautifully flowing melodies, which rival the snootiest of film soundtracks. The only downside to this soundtrack is the large amount of filler - about 50%, if not more (filler is characterised by two-minute tracks of (mostly) ambient noises). Nevertheless, the first half - or so of the disc contains some great music that has to be heard. Do yourself a favor and check it out - if you like Classical music, or sountracks in the genre of LOTR, you'll probably like this CD.
