Comment: If you like the show you are going to like the soundtrack. I think Alexz Johnson's voice is interesting and like listening to it. The lyrics for some songs are a bit "young", but I also know that I am a bit older than the typical viewing audience. The album is fun with pretty music.

Summary: One of my Fav's 2008-05-05
Comment: This is one of my all time favorite albums. Which is strange to admit because the rest of my list of favorite albums include artists like The Beatles, Aerosmith and Death Cab For Cutie to name a few. And though everybody doesnt know who Alexz Johnson is (most people havent even heard of Instant Star), this is some amazing music. Both Songs from Instant Star and Instant Star Two are deserved to be heard by everyone!

Summary: I Love Instnat Star and Alexz but..... 2007-10-10
Comment: I love Instant Star and Alexz voice is amazing, but I didn't like as many of the songs as I did for Season 1. Which isn't the CD's fault because the songs do come off of the show. Unlike the first seasons songs alot of these do not hold up on their own without the show background.

Summary: This Star continues to SHINE 2007-08-04
Comment: I was delighted to hear that Instant Star would be returning for a second season -- after all, like many fans, I wanted to know what would happen with the ever present love triangle between Jude, Tommy, & Jamie. However, I was even more thrilled that the wonderful songs on the second season would be featured on another soundtrack. Instant Star 2 soundtrack is even better than the first one! With deeper lyrics and more song styles, Alexz proves that her voice is truly that of pure talent. The N really has hit target with this show -- and fans of Instant Star will love to take their favorite fictional character, Jude Harrison, into reality with songwriter/singer, Alexz Johnson.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for any Instant Star fan and any one who wants to hear a real female singer without worrying about it feeling too overproduced or fake. Alexz is the real deal.
