Shark Tale

I was surprsed that Amazon.com didn't provide more information about the actual tracks and artists on the disc. I did go on and buy it after hearing a preview of it on MTV.com and felt compelled to write a review.
What makes this soundtrack stand out is that it seems amazing that the producers were able to attract these big name acts for a movie of this nature. Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige, Ludicrous, Will Smith (though he is in the movie so that isn't all that surprising), Sean Paul and the list goes on. Most soundtracks seem to feature perhaps one big artist and the others seem out of place or hoping to become well known after being featured on a soundtrack. This one is star studded and the tracks are mostly above average, catchy, well produced and simply fun.
The best, and so happens to be the first track, is in my opinion "Three Little Birds" by Ziggy Marley and Sean Paul. A classic song revamped and made to sound as if it could fit in with...Read more
