Well, what can I say? Obviously whoever is reading this must be somewhat Interested in the CD. I saw MK on TV one time, I loved it, and I watched it lots of time. I was younger then, and the music wasn't something to me. But then one day, (about a year ago) I was going through my Videos. And found Mortal Kombat. So I watched a bit of it. And I became yet again Obsessed. The music was now very thrilling to me. And I went out and bought the soundtrack, I actually bought mine from Borders in Australia, it was ordered from the US and took 14 weeks! Anyway, you wanna know about this soundtrack? I'll tell you about it. I love it, not all tracks are perfect, but different people like different music. They are all satisfactory. Here's some Info on the CD: Track one:

I just recently saw the movie "Mean Girls" in theaters, and there is a song at the end of the movie that I remembered was on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. So I went into my collection and dug out this CD to find the song. It was a song by Orbital called "Halcyon On+On+On", if you have not heard this song, once you hear it you will be in tears, it is such a beautiful song. The rest of the CD is really good, but that Orbital song is the best part, it is like a slowing point in the CD. Very nice song, I highly recommend you listen to it!

The perfect blend of techno, nu metal, hard rock, and dance music, "Mortal Kombat" is a soundtrack that covers many bases. First of all, we are given some nice techno/workout music from groups like Gravity Kills, KMFDM and the Utah Saints. The best songs of the first part of this album are "Goodbye" and "Jukeboint Jezebel." The second half of this album gives us a dose of Type O Negative's "Blood & Fire" and Sister Machine Gun's "Burn." Then, everything is wrapped up nicely with some George S. Clinton and the sounds of the Immortals.

There isn't much to say about this album other than the fact that there are some really good songs to do aerobics to and then, once you've warmed up a bit, you can headbang on through the night.

If you're into techno music or enjoyed the music of recent soundtracks such as any of the "Blade" flicks or "Resident Evil," you're sure to like this collection.
