Summary: More music from Northern Exposure - review 2008-10-23
Comment: Additional selected music from the series not included on the first music CD. Most music is ecclectic in a good way, available elsewhere but difficult to assemble together, an overall pleasing selection. A few selections are Native American songs, and original music scores from the producer's musicians that wrote the theme song. This CD includes the 45-second version of the theme song -- that is the version length that is heard at the beginning of each episode.

Comment: The "More Music From Northern Exposure" CD is a great follow-up to the original CD from the 90's television series. It is a sampling from the quirky television series and is as entertaining as the tv series was. It brings back great memories........More Music From Northern Exposure (1990-95 Television Series)

Summary: Better than the first one 2006-05-11
Comment: I received this album as a gift because I enjoy the first NX album. However, I do skip a couple songs on the first album because I don't care for the sound, genre, whatever, and I don't skip any tunes on this album because I enjoy all of them. The second album seems more eclectic than the last, but I do agree that the opening and closing modern Native American tunes are the best.

Summary: Great traveling music! 2006-03-19
Comment: I am in my vehicle often, on road trips between Iowa and Colorado to visit Grandchildren and take Girl Scouts to the mountains. I didn't realize what a lasting impression this CD made on my Girl Scouts and Grandchildren until one day the girls were in the car and suddenly all 7 began singing the opening Oijibwa song. They had learned it phonetically, just as I had. When 15 -16 year old girls say, "play the Northern Exposure music Gramma J.", you've got to guess it's a CD full of good music. I like to listen when I drive through unknown and unfriendly bumper to bumper traffic. It is soothing and rhythmically conducive to driving. Not to mention the good Northern Exposure memories.
