Uplifting!,

Whatever your taste in music, (Christian - my personal favorite! , R&B,pop, even country)this CD has it all. It's especially nice to hear secular artists on this album. Ironically enough, one of the best songs, "Jesus Loves Me", is done by Edwin McCain, not necessarily known in the Christian arena. Being a Steven Curtis Chapman and Avalon fan, their songs once again didn't disappoint, but then again, neither did the others. In response to a previous review by a music lover in Maryland, part of the CD's title is "...music INSPIRED by". Each artist was asked to contribute a song either inspired by the thoughts about who they thought Jesus to be, or simply what Jesus means to them. There's certainly nothing wrong with 98 Degrees or Hootie and the Blowfish singing about Jesus - in fact, I'm sure He's delighted that they are! And more should! Music used to glorify God in any form should be appreciated.

I didn't even plan to buy that CD. It happenned by surprise. I went into this christian bookstore and a song from the soundtrack was playing (it was the track of Leann Rimes) I immediately ask where I could find the song and of course they told me it was from this compilation. I listen to the whole CD and I thought it was very refreshing. The songs are very beautiful and touching. I love the work of Steven Curtis Chapman, Avalon, Jaci Valesquez,98degrees,I could go on and on...

Great Soundtrack!,

It's a GREAT soundtrack, lol. What drew me to it was the fact that 98 Degrees' new song was on it. :) The song is a very beautiful ballad (can't wait for new album) sung by the guys. There are other highlights on the album, too: Leann Rimes and Steven Chapman also have nice ballads. Jaci Velasquez (very talented and known for her Christian pop), sings a very touching and inspirational song. Avalon's got a nice beat to it and pleasing to listen to. Those are the repeats that I like, the other songs are good also. If you like ballads, up-tempo, inspirational songs (and diversiy b/c it has country too), this is the album! You don't necessary have to be Christian to enjoy it (or other religions).
