Summary: Goes great with movie 2005-02-26
Comment: While this isn't the best soundtrack out there, it compliments the movie great and is a must have if you loved Here on Earth. A few of the tracks are kinda "teenybopper" but even those tracks are catchy and worth a listen or two. I really love the Tori Amos "1000 Oceans"--while its not a great Tori song it goes perfect for the soundtrack. Also the orchestra music is really lovely in a sweet, sad way.

Summary: Nice CD but..... 2001-04-20
Comment: I really love the movie Here on Earth and wanted to get the Cd. I thought the cd would be just as good. But it is just missing some songs like from the Goo Dolls/ Black balloon. I dont know why u have the song in the preview but not on the CD. But over all i love this cd.

Summary: Pretty Good Soundtrack! 2001-03-21
Comment: I loaned my copy to a friend before I listened, and I just got it back. I'm surprised at how good it is! The obvious highlight is the radio ballad "Where You Are" by Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey, but there are many more strong songs. The two Sixpence None The Richer songs are top notch. Tori Amos gives us more of her famous lyric writing skills with 1,000 Oceans, and Tal Bachman's song If You Sleep definately grows on you. The instrumental at the end entitled Here On Earth Score Suite is interesting, but kind of sounds out of place. The songs by Neve and Beth Orton are just medium, but as I have only listened to the CD a few times I am sure they will grow on me. If you are a fan of the movie you'll love the soundtrack.

Summary: If you loved the movie, you'll love this soundtrack 2000-08-20
Comment: I fell in love with this movie and had to get the soundtrack and its wonderful! You see the movie in your mind as you listen to the songs. . . like "I Need Love" you see Kelley danceing with the cows. . . "Whatever Turns You on Turns Me On" you see Sam danceing around making brakefast. . . "Tic Tocs" you see Jasper give Sam a hug as they make up. . . "1000 Oceans" you see Kelley and Sam being apart from each other. . . etc. Its like seeing the movie with just listening to it. If you are a fan of HERE ON EARTH I recommend this cd highly. Its a must have with the movie! With its extra bouns of the track BRICHES where Sam and Kelley are reading it adds the cherry to the top. . . the best part. :) Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! :)

Summary: Pretty good. 2000-05-24
Comment: I liked "Here on earth" the film so I automatically bought the soundtrack.I was kinda dissapointed,I was hoping the soundtrack would be as good as the film, but it wasn't.The cd boasts some nice music, mainly Beth Orton's "Don't need a reason",but also has some poor music on it too.I know alot of people who like Jessica Simpson, but I can't stand her,the song "Where you are" sucks and blows at the same time, and I hate Devin's "Whatever turns you on".

I would recomend this cd,"Here on earth" is worth your money and time.
