5.0 out of 5 stars Great Empire, March 18, 2001

Don't buy this album because it has "Star Wars" in the title, it's not related to the trilogy at all. Buy it because it's Alec Empire at the top of his game. No one else mixes ambient techno with the super-fast and hard noise he's known for. This is great stuff, but be forwarned, it's an aquired taste. Personally, I think you should start with Empire's more recent "The Destroyer" and work your way back to this. Also, if you like the hard stuff, check out Atari Teenage Riot's "Burn, Berlin, Burn" where you'll hear more of Empire's signature sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent piece of art, June 7, 1999

This is a very good album. Its soothing at times, not quite what you would expect, so don't expect another "Destroyer". Not recomended as a first Alec Empire album, to experimental for the mainstream. Oh, I just want to say to all you other Alec Empire fans, do whatever it takes to get his album "Squeeze the Trigger", it is absolutly VITAL! A collection of his most amazing works, it took me forever to find it and I about had a heart attack when I did. HUNT IT DOWN!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Alec's Best Album!, April 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Generation Star Wars (Audio CD)
Generation Star Wars is Alec's best album, there is always the Destroyer to dispute this, but over all it is the best. One can listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it. It captures this phenomenal energy, and the title is at all not that bad. best track on the album "lash the 90ts," and "sieg uber die mayday hj."
