Summary: Poor quality disks/manufacturing were used 2010-07-05
Comment: Music quality aside, many of the tracks on multiple CDs sound like the CD had been "scratched" terribly. It even had my iTunes freeze up on me multiple times for importing the mp3s. I had to actually buy the tracks off of the iTunes store to get those tracks - nearly a whole CD's worth. Please purchase a different version of the soundtrack than this one. It ended up costing me close to a hundred dollars in replacing the songs.

Summary: THIS IS A BOOTLEG! 2010-05-17
Comment: THIS IS MADE BY MAYA RECORDS. search for "maya records" and the first thing you will see:
Miya Records is a company based in Taiwan that releases unlicensed (bootleg), of anime soundtracks and J-pop albums (from artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki)
DO NOT BUY A BOOTLEG! The REAL version is made by SONY!

Summary: Great product, too expensive 2010-04-07
Comment: I loved the product, music and the packaging are great, if you are a FF fan then go for it, otherwise don't buy it. Since its a limited edition, it worth the money, but I was surprised since its listed here for only 25$ [..] and amazon listing price was 70$+ . the 4 star for the product and the -1 star for the listing price of amazon.

Summary: Hypocrites and Haters 2010-03-31
Comment: Mine arrived this afternoon, and I don't see what all the fuss is about. The price I paid was well worth it, and the music is second to none. Maybe if everyone paid more attention to the small print things like this wouldn't happen. The music is great and I think for somone stepping into such big shoes such as this they did an excellent job. You act like it was an easy decision for Square to use another composer after establishing such a legacy with Uematsu. It's called risk, people, and any successful business will tell you that risk is part of the job. And then there's the people who are fussy because of all the Japanese there is to deal with. I'm not going to waste my time with explaining that if you expect something made originally in Japan to be in English, then you're retarded. I think the Japanese enhances the experience of having the set for REAL FANS, which in the end is who this is meant for. Since when did "Limited Edition" mean that even people who don't like it deserve it? It's supposed to be for people like me, who don't care if the music is this or that, and if I can read it or not. That's the fun that comes with this territory. It's part of the job, so to speak. If you can't say anything reasonable about it, then don't say anything at all. Take it from a true fan of music, and not someone who listens to what I'm told I should listen to based on what has more popularity points, this soundtrack is great and a must for the real fans of the game. And for those who are complaining about the price, that's how you know the n00bs from the rest. Who pays 50 bucks for this? So I'll bet you're against music piracy, but you won't give the people who worked long and hard for this to be real the money they deserve. Isn't that the same damn thing? Grow up, people. Just because you make mistakes with your money doesn't mean EVERYTHING is overpriced.
