You're not likely to hear this album on the radio, but Swedish Miss Li comes out with a refreshingly lyrical kinda new, kinda vaudeville sound that is very attractive.
She is well worth a listen.
The cool thing is that we don't have to pay import prices anymore. Amazon lets you compose your own MP3 album with all the tracks you like.

A great album -- fun, witty, and charming,

Kirsty MacColl comes to mind listening to Miss Li's music -- a deceptively sweet voice singing stinging lyrics over tongue-in-cheek genre music. With Ms. MacColl's tragic passing at far too young an age, having Miss Li doing her thing so wonderfully is a salve for the soul. The lyrics are great, the music is excellent, and the album has quickly gone into heavy rotation on my playlists. Her adroit lyrical ability is the real standout, and the wit is sharp and intense. Love it!

Absolutely love this singer! Unfortunately, she is not that well known in states yet. I head one of her songs in the background of Grays Anatomy and was very impressed
