And yet, Bad can t help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean (MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL), a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. Summary: Marginal sound quality 2010-07-14
Comment: Overall this is a good soundtrack but I am disappointed in the sound quality of Jeff Bridges' songs. They sound muffled and muted, almost as if they were recorded from the film itself as opposed to a separate studio recording. The songs by other artists all sound like studio recordings. And the sound quality of Jeff Bridges songs from the DVD was fine, which is why I bought the soundtrack.

Summary: Mom's Day Gift to my Mom 2010-06-04
Comment: Well everyone out there knows how hard it is to find the perfect gift for your Mom on Mother's Day. Well my Mom and I watched this movie and during and at the end of the movie she commented on how she would love to get the soundtrack to it so "ding ding ding" I immeditately went to Amazon.com and sure enough they had it and for a very reasonable price. I ordered it and it arrived the day after Mother's Day :( but my Mom was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the gift. The music is great Jeff Bridges sounds great. I highly recommend this to any country western music lover. :) giggle

Summary: Superb! 2010-04-28
Comment: I love this CD; I purchased it on the same night I saw the movie!
I've always liked Jeff Bridges as an actor; who knew he could sing country, too!
The original songs are great & the classic country selections are perfect for the flow of the film. This CD has been in my car C D player almost constantly for the past couple months.
